What is the role about?

The Analyst is crucial to Serena's functioning because she/he often is the first point of contact with the entrepreneur and brings Serena's values to the ecosystem. Serena Analysts have four main missions:

Source — hunt and nurture the most promising companies before anyone else
Think — build conviction and present investment rationale to the team
Analyse — produce structured and actionable intelligence for the team
Grow — learn, try, fail, succeed, enjoy the ride!

What do previous Analyst interns have in common?

The ability to search, filter, sift through a pretty high volume of data/information and see quickly and clearly through them to spot the best teams and companies — they have an analytical mind and are able to cut through the noise and synthesize
The ability to form an opinion, express it, and defend it consciously and not stubbornly — they follow the signals but they equally learned to remain immune to them
The ability to create and maintain strong relationships with people — they find a way to be spotted among ten other people and they make people want to work with them
And many other attributes — they are curious, hardworking, hungry, honest, humble... They think long-term and play to win!
